Kauwela Creations is passionate about creating jewelry that will accentuate your natural beauty & help you shine! Now, you can wear real flowers preserved in resin along with authentic crystals & pearls–a match made in heaven! Nature you can wear, that will bring you the very best energy!
Mia started Kauwela Creations in 2022 from a creative hobby of playing with resin & making the dainty flower jewelry she couldn’t find on the market. Since, she has done dozens of pop-ups & made thousands of pieces of jewelry which have brought joy to countless ladies in Maui and beyond. Not only does she have so much fun making these pieces, she’s also experienced all the positive comments that come from other women when she’d wear the pieces out. She hopes you will enjoy all the positive interactions that come from those “oh my goodness, cute earrings” type of comments you’ll get wearing Kauwela Creations.
Meet the Designer
Behind the NameBehind the name – Kauwela means “Summer” in Hawaiian. I chose this name after my late Aunty Summer. She was always a ray of light in my life and always inspired me and reminded me that we all need to have a creative outlet, a space - so we don’t lose track of ourselves. I hope you may feel light when you wear our pieces.
